Dr. Apanga Stephen is a Senior Lecturer and the Head of Department of Community and Preventive Medicine of the School of Medicine, UDS. He is also the Acting Coordinator of the Community-Based Education and Services, School of Medicine.
Currently, Dr. Apanga is a PhD candidate at the University of Ghana. He has also obtained other qualifications from the University of Pompeu Fabra, Barcelona Spain, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology and the º£½ÇÂÒÂ×ÉçÇø, Tamale.
Dr. Stephen is an expert in Public Health (Health systems research: Primary Health Care & Universal Health Coverage), Health economics and Pharmacoeconomics, as well as Clinical trials, Population and Health.
He is a serious researcher with many publications in several peer-reviewed journals both locally and internationally. Also, he is a consultant, a medical practitioner, businessman and a farmer.
He has worked with, consulted for, and partnered with many institutions across the length and breadth of Ghana.
